F4U Programming

• The organization has partnered with a local non-profit organization to facilitate workshops on behavioral and coping skills
• Residents will navigate through a 6-week anger management program in which they’ll receive the tools to assist in difficult situations
• Each resident will maintain a personal diary to track weekly program progress
• Upon successfully completing the 6-week program, residents will move into a program called the "I-Matter" mentoring program

Tutoring and test preparedness is the focus of the Beyond the Classroom program.  The subject matter is based on progress reports and testing schedules shared by school personnel. A tutoring schedule is set  to align with the individual's service plan.

As a part of Family 4-U’s mission to expose residents to the arts, the organization has partnered with local organizations to add variety to onsite and offsite recreational activities. 

Creative therapy will give the residents hands-on experience in different areas of the arts.  Family 4-U residents will have the opportunity to meet with subject matter experts in the following areas: Culinary Arts; Visual Arts; and Cosmetology!
